Touching Number 1

While visiting Oak Ridge, I was given the opportunity to not only see, but also touch the #1 ranked supercomputer in the world. This blackberry snapped photo shows just enough detail to capture the nerdy nirvana of the event:

    You look so excited. :) But the real question is, how do you feel now knowing it's ranking has fallen behind China (http://tech.slashdot.org/story/10/10/28/1220247/China-Makes-Worlds-Fastest-Supercomputer)?

    I knew when I posted the picture that the Chinese will probably overtake #1 the next time the top 500 rankings come out. Assuming that happens, let's hope we take the #1 spot back some time soon.

    That being said, touching the number 1 super computer in the world was pretty awesome.
